Policy information
How to raise a complaint
By this form, by email to info@trunkhealthcare.co.uk, by telephone on 07846 747499, or in writing to Trunk Healthcare, Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Acknowledgement
We acknowledge every complaint in writing within 3 working days of receiving it.
Investigation and response
A full written response is provided within 20 working days. If an investigation needs longer, we tell you why and agree a revised date with you.
Escalation stages
Stage 1: local resolution by the manager responsible for the service. Stage 2: review by a Director of Trunk Healthcare. Stage 3: independent external escalation.
Care Quality Commission
You can share concerns about a regulated care service with the CQC on 03000 616161 or at cqc.org.uk at any time.
Local Government and Social Care Ombudsman
If you remain unhappy after Stage 2, you can ask the Ombudsman to review your complaint on 0300 061 0614 or at lgo.org.uk.
Raising a concern will never affect the care or support you receive. You may ask a relative, friend or advocate to complain on your behalf, and you can submit feedback anonymously — although we will not be able to reply directly if you do.
