Accessibility Statement

We want this website to be usable by as many people as possible, including people using screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or reduced-motion settings.

Last reviewed: 4 August 2026. Next scheduled review: 4 August 2027. This document is issued by Trunk Healthcare and applies to this website and our care and staffing services.

Our approach

This website has been built following the principles of WCAG 2.2 level AA. Accessibility is treated as part of development rather than an add-on feature.

What we have done

  • Strong colour contrast, with meaning never conveyed by colour alone
  • Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators
  • A skip link to move directly to the main content
  • Semantic headings, landmarks and descriptive link text
  • Labelled form fields with error messages linked to the relevant input
  • Large tap targets on mobile devices
  • Support for the reduced-motion setting in your operating system
  • Text that remains readable when enlarged up to 200 per cent
  • Descriptive alternative text for meaningful images

Using your own settings

You can change text size, contrast and motion settings using your browser or device controls. We have deliberately avoided a separate accessibility overlay so these settings continue to work as expected.

Telling us about a problem

If you encounter a barrier on this website, please contact us using the details on our contact page or through our feedback form. We will respond and aim to provide the information you need in an alternative format where necessary.

This statement was prepared on 4 August 2026 following internal accessibility testing of every page on this website using keyboard navigation, screen reader checks and automated contrast testing. If you find a barrier we have missed, email info@trunkhealthcare.co.uk or call 07846 747499 and we will respond within 5 working days.
